S.C. WIRE MESH and S.C. STRUCTURAL MESH
Welded wire fabric consists of parallel series of high-strength, cold-drawn wire welded together in square or rectangular grids. Pressure and heat fuse the intersecting wire into a homogeneous section and fix all wires in their accurate position.
Welded plain wire fabric bonds to concrete by the positive mechanical anchorage at each welded intersection. Welded deformed wire fabric utilizes deformation plus welded intersection for bond and anchorage. Concrete structures are being successfully and economically reinforced with high-strength, uniformly distributed wires in welded wire fabric. The smaller diameter, closely spaced wires provide more uniformed stress distribution and more effective crack control in slabs and walls.
